This is the first time that a Big Band Polka Orchestra has been elevated to the POP catagory! Walt is delighted with his new challenge land is proud that his new CD will be in competition with some of the besst recording artists in the world. (Burt Bacharach, Ramsey Lewis etc) Walt will release another new CD next spring on the Eastwind International Artists label, titled BIG BAND & POLKA, with a touch of class... New York City.. My late husband played your recordings everyday going back and forth to work. We traveled 72 miles one way and he just kept on playing your music. He just loved your Clarinet Polka. He played the clarinet and had his own Polish Band but he said he could never play the clarinet Polka as Wally Balicki did. He could never get over how fast Wally went up and down the Clarinet with the notes and he was a good musician.He also played the alto and tenor sax and accordion All our children played an instrument and would play along with him. He was teaching my little grandaughter who was 4 at the time, when he passed away. How thrilled he would have been that I found your beautiful Web Site.
